摘要:
A practical and theoretical approach is presented to assist nursing administrators in dealing with turnover. Data from an attitude survey ol 242 were analyzed and underlying factors that influence turnover were identified through utilization of a model to predict voluntary turnover. The authors illustrate the use of this predictive model.

The concept of an “appropriate” bargaining unit for professional employees can only be considered through an examination of specific statutory provisions and the administrative determinations or judicial decisions that pertain to both the scope and composition of the unit. As the statutes precede the decisions, an overview of the legislative background specifically concerned with labor relations will provide some historical substance for the ensuing discussions.
