Over a ring of scalars R without 2-torsion there is, up to a scalar multiple, only one odd product that can be defined on a Kac bimodule to form a Jordan superalgebra. Over a field F with charF ¬= 2,3, the split Kac superalgebra K10(F) is simple. Indeed for any ring R of scalars with 1/6εR, we have a one-to-one correspondence between the associative ideals I of R and the graded ideals X of K10{R) given by I - I = K10(I). For any R with 1/2εR, we have a one-to-one correspondence between the associative ideals I of R and the ideals or outer ideals of the Jordan algebra J(Q, eo) of a split quadratic form Q over R.

To every non-cuspidal K-rational point on the modular curve Xl(n) a non-commutative Noetherian domain of global dimension 3 can be associated : the Sklyanin algebra. In this paper we give the defining equations of the Sklyanin algebras and their centers when Xl(n) is rational, i.e. n <= 10 or n = 12.

Let R be an arbitrary ring with identity which does not contain an infinite set of orthogonal idempotents. Suppose further that any direct sum of countably many copies of the right R-module R is a CS-module. Then any nonsingular right R-module is a CS-module.

In this paper we answer the question raised by Fisher whether the Brown-McCoy radical is closed under products or equivalently - under ultraproducts. Morever, we prove that the radical is closed under ultraproducts with respect ω-complete ultrafilters.

The purpose of this paper is to calculate all the character tables of Hecke algebras associated with exceptional Weyl groups and their maximal parabolic subgroups when they are commutative. In the case when Weyl groups are of classical type, they are already known in [D.1] and [D.2]. In §1, we discuss the structure of Hecke algebras and in §2, we calculate all the character tables of these commutative Hecke algebras associated with exceptional Weyl groups.
