摘要:
AbstractThe polarographic characteristics of the chelate formed between lead ion and ascorbic acid have been studied over apH range of 2.0 to 5.8.The reversible reduction was held over a wide range of the concentration of the chelating agent varying from 0.132Mto 1.0MwhenpHvalue was lower than 5.8.The higher the concentration of ascorbic acid, the more hydroxylion was involved in the reduction of the polarographic solution of the samepH value.AtpH 2.5 to 5.8 the existence of a mixture of more than one kind of chelate species was found.The diffusion current was found to be proportional to lead ion concentration from 0.2mMto 2.0mMwith 1.4% average deviation.

摘要:
AbstractEmulsion polymerization of vinyl chloride induced by γ‐ray irradiation has been studied. The effects of irradiation time, of emulsifier concentration, of vinyl chloride concentration and of the dose rate have been investigated and discussed. The initial reaction rate (Rp) and the degree of polymerization (P) were recognized to be proportional to the exponential powers of the value of the emulsifier concentration (Cs) as represented in the following formulae in which the exponents were found to be different from those given by Smith and Ewart.The value ofRpwas greatly effected by the dose rate (D) and it was also found to be proportional to the exponential powers ofDas shown in the following formu
