摘要:
AbstractThe Oxidation of iodine by ceric sulfate in sulfuric acid solution has been found to be of second‐order with respect to iodine and first‐order with respect to Ce(IV), by spectrophotometric measurements. CeSO4+2was assumed to be the active species of ceric sulfate. The over‐all rate constants were found to bek0=2.66x IC4l2/M2Iminfor the reaction rate,‐d[I2]/dt=k0[C3(IV)][I2]2in 1.0MH2SO4and K″ = 1.12×108I2/M2·minfor the reaction rate, ‐d[I2]/dt=k′

AbstractLabelling of rose bengal with iodine‐131 was studied by using carrier‐free NaI‐131 produced at the National Tsing Hua University. The effects ofpH and hydrogen peroxide on the radioactive exchange reaction were investigated. 摘要:
AbstractThe reaction of equimolar amounts of NBS with salicylic acid in carbon tetrachloride was found to give tribromophenol, 4‐bromo‐ and 4,6‐(not 4,5)‐dibromo‐salicylic acids, while the same reaction carried out in dioxane yielded only tribromophenol and 4‐bromosalicylic acid and addition of pyridine into the reaction mixture (in dioxane) decreased the yields of the products. The fact that no 4,6‐dibromosalicylic acid could be produced in a dioxane medium is a strong evidence showing that the bromination in dioxane takes place through dioxane dibromide as the
