摘要:
Catalytic gasification of coal is an old technology with patents dating back to at least 1884 [1]. To gasify charcoal, lignite, or subbituminous coals, these materials were mixed with the oxides, hydroxides, or carbonates of alkali metals or alkaline-earth metals, Considerably higher gasification rates or lower gasification temperatures were realized by these additives.

摘要:
Enzymes are protein catalysts found in all living cells. For more than a century chemists and biochemists have been studying the structure and function of these remarkable molecules, It is now known that the majority of enzymes are globular in structure with molecular weights in the range of 10, 000 to 600, 000 (Fig. 1). The active center, which generally represents a relatively small portion of the surface area of the molecule, is composed of a binding site and a catalytic site. In addition to amino acid side chains such as imidazole and thiol groups, the catalytic site often contains metal ions and non-protein “coenzymes”.

摘要:
The modeling of a reaction unit in which the absorption of a gas is associated with a liquid-phase catalytic reaction is a difficult problem in which both chemical and fluodynamic factors are involved. Many excellent reviews in which the chemical details of the liquid-phase catalytic processes and the engineering implications of the gas-liquid reactions are separately discussed are available.

摘要:
Conventional transmission electron microscopy (CTEM) is by now a quite well-established technique for the study of heterogeneous catalysts. It is commonly used for the determination of metallic particles shapes and size distribution on various types of carriers [1, 2]. In addition, dark field imaging and diffraction measurements (in selected area or microdiffraction mode) allows advantage to be taken of the diffraction of the electrons in order to identify the active phase on the basis of its crystal structure [3, 4].
