摘要:
AbstractThe regularities of the formation of (N+ 2)‐atomic clusters obtained by the growth of (N+ 1)‐atomic clusters and the distribution of the (N+ 2)‐atomic clusters according to their stability are studied. The most stable (N+ 2)‐atomic cluster is not always obtained from the most stable (N+ 1)‐atomic cluster. Sometimes it is formed by the least stable (N+ 1)‐atomic cluster.A necessary condition for the appearance of the most stable (N+ 2)‐atomic cluster is the formation of a bond between theN+ 2nd and theN+ 1st atoms. This means that the most stable (N+ 2)‐atomic cluster may be considered as obtained directly from theN‐atomic crystal by jumping over the stage of the (N+ 1)‐atomic cluster and adding a dimer suitably oriented with respect to theN‐atomic crystal.The least stable (N+ 2)‐atomic cluster is always obtained from the least stabl

摘要:
AbstractPrecipitates structure in oxidized BaF2single crystals was studied by high voltage electron microscopy. By the analysis of microdiffraction patterns from precipitates it was shown that the precipitate are BaO phase. It was established that the {112} plane of BaO precipitate coincides with the {111} plane of BaF2matrix, and the 〈111〉 and 〈110〉 directions of BaO precipitate coincide with the 〈112〉 and 〈110〉 directions of BaF2matrix. AbstractSome observations of growth spirals and hillocks on {001} surfaces of potassium bichromate crystals grown from aqueous solutions are presented and discussed. It is shown that a spiral pattern in fact represents a macrospiral developed as a result of the cooperative action of a group of dislocations.
