ABSTRACT:A 38‐year‐old, renal transplant patient developed painful, extensive, chancre‐like genital ulcerations. The etiological agent was found culturally to be herpes virus type II. The eruption lasted five months and proved recalcitrant to standard therapeutic modalities.
