摘要:
Complexes of molecular oxygen can be divided into two types according to the characteristics of the dioxygen ligand: superoxo and peroxo complexes1. The frequency of the O-O vibration which for the free O2molecule occurs at 1555 cm−1(ground3∑−gstate) or at 1483 cm−1(1Δgstate)2for the two types of compounds falls into two relatively narrow not overlapping ranges, 1195 - 1075 cm−1for superoxo and 932 - 790 cm−1for peroxo complexes1. The O+2ion absorbs at 1905 cm−1. It means that IR spectroscopy provides perhaps the most direct evidence for the nature of dioxygen complexes.
