摘要:
The electrical properties of microwave-induced plasmas (MIPs), relevant to signal detection of laser-induced ionization, have been investigated. Direct current vs. applied voltage relationships have been characterized for both argon and argon-active nitrogen plasmas. Suppression of signal detection for laser-induced ionization in the active nitrogen plasma is similar to that encountered in flames in the presence of thermally-ionized Group IA elements.

摘要:
We discuss the physical significance of the parameters Δklthat arise from mostly the adiabatic and nonadiabatic effects in the vibration-rotational energles of diatomic molecules for which data from isotopic variants are available. Examples are given of the use c f these parameters to derive radial functions for HC1 and LiH. Similar to those for the Uklcoefficients, relations among the Δklcoefficients have been developed, but caution is urged in their use.

摘要:
In the aim to improve the filtration process in the beer manufacture, a study on the beer turbidity have been made using two different techniques: nephelometry and V-UV spectrometry. Even though the former is the most commonly used, we propose the use of V-UV spectrometry since it is possible to follow the performace - of all the filtration line, not only in a punctual way but in a - wide range of wavelenghts. From the results of this work we deduce that V-UV spectrometry offers a better quality of results than nephelometry, being more useful in rutin periodic controls.
