I. r. spectral measurements were made to obtain the frequency (VNH) and the integrated intensity (A) of the amino stretching vibration band of 4′-substituted 4-nitrodiphenylamines in dilute chloroform solution. The effects of substituents were examined and the maximum and minimum correlations were obtained for the VNHand A values against the substituent constants ([sgrave]), respectively.

The temperature dependence of1H NMR chemical shift of -COOH group for the ternary system A+B+S (A - R-COOH component, B - electrondonating, S - inert solvent) ussually has a continuous character. However the experimentally measured dependences δ(COOH) = f(T) for the trimethylacetic acid (TA)-acetone-n-hexane system have uneven changes of the chemical shift at a certain temperature in the region 233–190 K (Ref. 1). It may be caused by the phase separation of solvents B + S, since it is well-known phenomenon for the mixtures acetonehydrocarbon2.

摘要:

The modified method of solving the radial Schrödinger equation, proposed earlier by the authors, is used for developing a new approach to the estimation of accuracy of calculating the vibrational wavefunction overlap integrals for diatomic molecules. Such an approach is shown to allow to separate quantitatively three major sources of errors arising in calculations of the overlap integrals.

A microarc discharge operated at atmospheric pressure in flowing helium is investigated as an atom reservoir for laserinduced ionization spectrometry. The operational characteristics of the microarc discharge as a primary atom source for atomic spectrometry are briefly examined. Preliminary observations of atomic emission and laser-induced ionization of sputtered analyte atoms in the microarc discharge and plasma are presented. A detection limit of 3 ng has been estimated for sodium by direct laser ionization in the helium microarc-induced plasma.

13C dipole-dipole relaxation time of the carbon atoms of macrocyclic ketone, cyclododecanone, have been determined at various temperatures in 15.0 MHz in CDC13. T1measurements of the methylene bridges were conducted with inversion recovery method and the measured NOE values at similar conditions gave the TDD1of the particular carbon moiety. The linear relationship between the inverse of absolute temperature and the LnTDD1strongly indicated the mechanism of the relaxation was purely dipolar. Therefore, the contribution of conformation on the internal motion was discussed depending on the relaxation time of pseudorotating sites. The selectivity of observed relaxation times of carbons of “anti” and “gouche” conformers, T1aand T1gindicated the role of segmental motion affected from the carbonyl group. Accordingly, the activation energy of the pseudorotation of the carbons were obtained by this way. The results were found to be inconsistent with earlier reports of DNMR and strain energy calculations.

Of the new laser dyes of coumarin series reported earlier, pyrazolo derivatives have been further studied. The paper reports their laser spectra and efficiencies in various solvents compared to a standard coumarin laser dye C515. One of the derivatives shows comparable output under optimum concentration conditions as compared to the standard.

The excitation temperatures of atoms and ions /Ar I, Ar II, V I, V II, Cr I, Cr II, Cu I, and Si I/ have been measured in the hollow cathode discharge. The Ar I high energy levels have been found to be overpopulated. The electron density has been estimated. The ionization-excitation mechanism has been discussed.

The association constants of Li+, Ca+2and Mg+2ions complexing with 1, 4, 7, 10-tetraoxcyclododecane in DHO were determined by the aid of13C dipole-dipole relaxation time measurements. To obtain the Ka, association constant, the TO1values of the stoichiometric complex solutions and the T10of the free molecules were applied to the equation derived, 1/Ka· Ao+ 2 = 1/P + P, for the 1:1 ratio of the complexing and to the equation 1/2Ka·Ao+ 3/2 = P + 1/2P for the 1:2 ratio of the complexing where P, is molar ratio of the crown complexed ions.

Low-energy electron scattering by anthracene and 1, 4-di 2-(5-phenyloxazolyl) -benzene (POPOP) vapors at low pressures is studied. The primary electron beam energy EOwas varied between 10 and 60 eV. The scattering angle was = 90°. It has been found that in the electron-energy-loss spectra, bands with maxima of 3·7 and 5·41 eV for anthracene, 4.02 and 7 eV for POPOP correspond to the SO→ S1and So→ S2transitions. Low intensity electron-energy loss due to T2-states excitation has been observed in the region of 2·15 eV for anthracene and 2·54 eV for POPOP. From comparison with optical absorption spectra and analysis of spectra structure changes at different EOthe nature of other bands has been determined. From the obtained results it was concluded that the probability of T1-state excitation is low. It is shown that the main mechanism of populating the T1-state by electric methods of vapor pumping is the process of intersystem crossing.
