The temperature dependence of the widths and shifts in the energy levels of Eu3+in the luminescence spectra of crystals of europium tris-thenoyl-trifluoroacetonate are measured. The experimental data are interpreted from the point of view of the theory of the spectra of impurity centres in crystals.

摘要:
This work presents a numerical study on the possibility of identifying the length and the diameter of rod-like macromolecules in diluted solution, when the laser light scattered by the solution is analyzed by means of intensity fluctuation spectroscopy (IFS). This study is made by computer-simulation of the second order normalyzed factorial moment, n(2)(T), of the laser light scattered by the macromolecules. The results are presented and discussed.

摘要:
A photoacoustic detection system mainly based on a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer has been constructed and some tentative evaluations of its performances have been made. Infrared photoacoustic spectra of cotton and nylon cloths have been obtained without troublesome sample preparations which are necessary in conventional infrared spectrometry. It can be said that the Fourier transform infrared photoacoustic spectroscopy is useful for the structure elucidation of organic polymers.

摘要:
Positive and negative ion laser desorption (LD) mass spectra of organic acids are characterized by the emission of the quasimolecular ions (M+H)+and (M-H)−. Generation of (M+H)+ions is interpreted as evidence for the occurence of high pressure proton transfer reactions in LD. Fragment ions can be rationalized by loss of stable neutral molecules from quasimolecular ions although decomposition may also be occuring prior to ionization. Features unique to LD, including the detection of pyrolysis products along with ions characteristic of the sample, are discussed in terms of the internal energy distribution in the irradiated microvolume. Negative ion mass spectra of acids are dominated by (M-H)−, while positive ion spectra contain abundant fragment ions, underlining the utility of detecting negative ions for acidic compounds.
