摘要:
Detailed information on vibrational structure of electronic transitions in molecules is necessary for the elucidation of the properties of excited electronic states, for the understanding of characteristics of polarized luminescence, circular dichroism and magnetic circular dichroism, sometimes also for solving problems of vibrational spectroscopy. The Shpolsky method of quasi-line spectraImakes it possible to obtain data on frequencies of vibrations and their activity in vibronic spectra of fluorescence and absorption. In principle, the method enables also determination of polarization of separate vibronic transitions, but monocrystalline samples are necessary for this purpose. The first investigations of quasiline spectra of monocrystalline samples (stilbene in n-octane) were carried out by Malykhina and Shpak2.

摘要:
The chemical composition of particulates in subway air collected during nonheating and heating seasons were determined by infrared analysis. The inorganic constituents were found to include sulfate, nitrate, bromate and silica. The principle sulfate compounds were ferrous sulfate and zinc sulfate. The infrared spectra also indicate the presence of an α, β unsaturated aldehyde such as acrolein. Some variation of composition with particle size was found. The possible presence of (NH4)2SeO4was also observed, but only during the heating season. The principle sources of the pollutants appear to be emissions from automobiles, power plants, incineration, and braking operations and track-wheel abrasion of the subway cars.

摘要:
The Raman spectrum of mercury(II) iodide was observed in cesium nitrate at 430°C and in meta- and para-terphenyl at 235 and 240°C, respectively. A single strong polarized line was found at 148. 5 cm−1, width at half height 15 cm−1in cesium nitrate, and a single line at 154. 0 cm−1width at half height 7 cm−1in the terphenyls. The observed spectra are not consistent with interactions of the solute and the solvents involving bonds of highly covalent character, but do not exclude other interactions.

摘要:
The intensity and width of the Zn 330, 2 nm spectral line emitted from hollow cathode discharge in pulse mode depending on pulse parameter changes are investigated. The purpose of this study is to obtain the effect of pulse mode supply and to find the optimum values of pulse parameters for stable emission of intensive as well as narrow zinc spectral lines. The line intensity gain is maximum. 100, while the line width is less or equal to that obtained at the d. c. mode.

摘要:
Although several different groups have studied the photolysis of phosphorus ylides, none have utilized e. s. r. to support the postulated decomposition mechanisms. The fundamental question which awaits a definitive answer is which bond breaks first upon photolysis. Tschesche1and de Silva2utilizing the ylides (1) and (2) suggested that the carbon-phosphorus double bond was initially broken while Nagao3using (3) proposed phenyl-phosphorus bond cleavage.

摘要:
Primary amines react efficiently with fluorescamine (FLURAM®) to form pyrrolinone-type chromophores with long wavelength absorption maxima at 380–410 nm. When the primary amine is chiral, these chromophoric derivatives exhibit characteristic Cotton effects. The chiroptical properties of the reaction mixtures can be related to the absolute configuration of the amines without isolation of the products.

摘要:
Photoelectron spectra of three natural methylated xanthines are discussed by qualitative considerations on the constitutive subunits and the methylation effects. The first band in all three cases can be assigned to enaminic molecular subunit, as in uracil; also the positions of the lone pairs of nitrogen and oxygen atoms are discussed.

摘要:
Electrochemical reactions in solutions causing the production of electrochemiluminescence (ECL) have been studied already for more than ten years1–4. In the main the ECL mechanism is established, the main regularities of this interesting phenomenon are determined. The attention is paid to the ECL in connection with the fact that its radiation gives a vast information about the electrochemical reactions in solutions. Moreover on this basis an effective and convenient transformators of the electrical signals into light can be carried out (the quantum efficiency is 20% for some solutions5). As a rule the ECL experiments are made under conditions controlled by an ordinary or convective diffusion. In this paper the results of investigations of the ECL upon condition of great external disturbances of solution whic occure due to the applicatin of the ultrasonic fields to the cell are given. To our Knowledge suvh investigations have not been undertaken earlier.
