摘要:
Two series of substituted phenols were prepared and their physical and spectral properties were determined. Multivariate and principle component analysis were use. It was found that statistical method show similarities between different substituted phenols and indicated some correlation between physical and spectral properties.

摘要:
The new Mn(II), Cu(II) and Cr(III) complexes with 2-[(2quinolylmethylene)amino]-phenol (QMAP) were characterised by UV/VIS, IR and MS spectra and elemental analyses. The 1:1 (M:L) type of Mn(II)-and Cu(II)-QMAP complexes has been confirmed while the Cr(III)-QMAP complex show the ML2type of chelate molecule.

摘要:
The use of a Thermospray (TSP) in flame atomic absorption (FAA) increases sensitivity. Experimental data showed that a 75 μm orifice and 0.05 cm 1D capillary produced a sensitivity increase of about 104compared to commercial flame atomizer. The signal was independent of power input over a considerable power range.

摘要:
The two dimensional inverse detected heteronuclear correlation experiment HMQC and the homonuclear correlation experiments COSY and ROESY were performed on the natural alkaloid, delphinine enabling complete assignments of the1H and13C spectra. The stereochemistry of ring A and B have been determined in solution. The results suggest that the application of direct correlation multipulse NMR techniques allows for unambiguous structural assignment of delphinine.

Measurement are reported on the phase of the photoacoustic signal of Nd-Dibenzoylmethide (Nd(DBM)3) sample for a range of chopping frequencies between 56HZ-722HZ. By applying to theoretical models, the utility of phase data to evaluate the optical absorption coefficient and nonradiative relaxation time of solid state complexes are discussed. And modified theoretical models have been established.

摘要:
Contact transfer charge (CCT) absorption spectra ofN,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) andN,N-dimethylacetamide (DMA) with molecular oxygen (O2) have been investigated. These solvents form contact complexes with O2and have strong ultraviolet CCT absorption bands with intensities that are related to the partial pressure of the applied O2and the mole percentages of DMF and DMA in DMF/acetonitrile (MeCN) and DMA/MeCN mixtures, respectively. Electron spin resonance spectra and luminol chemiluminescence tests confirm the absence of the formation of superoxide ions from oxygenated DMF and DMA solutions.

摘要:
This work is concerned with the determination of a mixture of phenytoin, phenobarbitone and methylphenobarbitone by two different techniques. The first one depends on the simultaneous quantitative densitometric evaluation of thin layer chromatograms of the three drugs. The second is the application of quantitative1H-NMR spectrometry for the simultaneous determination of phenobarbitone and methylphenobarbitone in the presence of phenytoin, while phenytoin was determined in this mixture by modifying the benzophenone spectrophotometric procedures.(1—4)

摘要:
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy has been used to study quantitatively the acetylation of monodisperse polystyrene microspheres with diameters ranging from 7 to 9μm. The CH2stretching infrared vibration mode at 2921 cm−1was used as the internal intensity standard. The acetylation extent could be easily measured by comparing the relative intensities of the bands of acetyl group (1678, 1415, 1359 cm−1) or the bands due to thepara-substituted benzene ring to the band at 2921 cm−1from the calibration curve.
