摘要:
The UV spectra of some chlorinated o-hydroxyschiff bases were studied in different solvents. It was found that schiff bases derived from condensation of 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde or 5-chloro-2-hydroxy benzaldehyde with substituted aniline exist as enol form, whereas schiff bases derived from the condensation of 3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde with substituted aniline exist as enol form, whereas schiff bases derived from the condensation of 3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde with aniline exist as keto form especially in dimethyl sulfoxide. The ratio of enol/keto isomers were calculated for these schiff bases.

Vibrational spectroscopy was applied in order to develop a better understanding concerning the interaction of typical currently-used mold dopes with metal molds and glass materials. Raman and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were used to obtain phase and structural information with respect to the metal surfaces, the mold dope layers, and the glass surfaces upon their interaction at higher temperatures. Both types of spectral measurements were made on the samples at room temperature after various heat treatments, while in-situ Raman spectral measurements were made during the heat treatment of a dope-treated sample. The spectral changes during the heat treatments could be interpreted on the basis of structural changes. Their interpretation was consistent with the interpretation of other characterization data.

摘要:
The13C NMR spectra of nine 4a-Methyl Octahydrophenanthrols are reported, and their chemical shifts are compared with those of the parent hydrocarbon and correlated against structural parameters. Two new parameters for β interactions are proposed and a α benzylic parameter is analysed. An extension to unsaturated six-membered rings skeletons is also tempted. Predictions for 30 carbons were carried out with an average error of 0.34 ppm.

摘要:
The emission spectra of isotopic BeO molecules as excited in low-pressure arc have been photographed in the region 300–350 nm at medium dispersion. The bands have been assigned to the c3II − a3II system. The vibrational numbering was obtained from a study of the vibrational isotope effect. Vibrational constants for involved states are derived from least-squares fits of the measured bandhead wavenumbers.

Emission spectra of HgBr (B-X) band system and atomic mercury lines have been observed during collisions involving HgBr2and He2+ions at different laboratory kinetic energies. Emission cross sections of the most intense band of the HgBr (B, v′=O − X, v″=22) transition have been measured at different energies of the projectile ions.
