摘要:
γ-Irradiation of solid ammonium compounds at low temperatures nay lead to the formation and trapping of radicals generated from the parent ammonium ions. Thus, NH3+ was observed in NH4PF61and N(CH3)3,+was found in tetramethyl ammonium halides2. Recently it has been shown that γ-irradiation of tetraalkylammonium iodides at 77 °K leads to the breaking of a C-C bond next to the nitrogen atom3in agreement with the mass spectrometrlc studies of amines which show the fission of the α, β-C-C bond as the primary process upon electron impact4.

摘要:
A series of possibilities are shown of increasing the sensitivity of laser microspectral analytical determinations of impurities in minerals, Steels, and aluminium alloys. When the excitation of the spectrum of the laser beam evaporated substance is transferred to a magnetic field, a considerable increase in the intensity of certain spectral lines of the basic and admixed components and a certain decrease in the intensity of the background, are observed. The intensification factor depends on the regime of the laser and the additional impulse discharge, the intensity of the magnetic field, and the utilized spectral lines.

摘要:
The present work cites the investigation results of19F NMR spectra in polyerystalline compounds of the Men[PtF6]mtype, where Me - Li+, Na+, K+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, La3+and Ag+. The use of a NMR spectrometer with high field stress (∼24 kOe) made possible the observation of different chemical shifts in solids of NMR signals from two nonequivalent fluorine types in octahedric complexes of [PtF6]2-.19NMR and Structure of Pt (IV) Hexafluorocomplexes

摘要:
Discrepancies have recently been noted between the results obtained and the accepted values when analysing samples of nigh copper content for lead by atomic absorption spectroscopy. Results for British Chemical Standard bronzes, for example, show apparent lead contents approximately an order of magnitude higher than expected. These discrepancies are attributed to emission by the nollow-cathode lamp used and absorption by the sample of the copper line at 2165.09 Å. The investigations leading to this conclusion and methods of avoiding the difficulty are described below.
