摘要:
A study about the interference fringes caused in the infrared region by polymer films and their applications to the evaluation of some properties is reported. Interference fringes, a sinusoidal waveform superimposed on the baseline, arise from reinforcement and destructive interference of various wavelengths of radiation reflected from the internal surfaces of the film when the IR spectrum is carried out.

摘要:
Charge transfer (CT) complexes of p-benzoquinone derivatives with Indolyldiene aniline derivatives have been prepared and investigated by Elemental analysis, IR,1H-NMR and electronic absorption spectroscopy. The spectral changes revealed that acidic acceptors form complexes with π - π* electronic interaction and proton transfer while non-acidic acceptors yield complexes having π - π transition only. The formation of 1:2 (D:A) complexes is also ascertained. The ionization potential and electron affinity are determined from the electronic absorption spectra for both the donors and acceptors respectivily.

摘要:
Electronic absorption spectrum and photocoustic absorption spectrum of aqua(L-glutamato) (1, 10-phenanthroline) copper (II) trihydrate have been measured. The experimental results are discussed quantitatively with LFT (ligand field theory) and the radial wave function of nonfree copper (II). The features of crystal structure of the title compound are also studied with our theory and the spectra above.

摘要:
The electronic absorption spectrum of bis(L-isoleucinato) copper (II) monohydrate has been measured. Four absorption bands appear at about 9600, 15325, 16145 and 17963cm−1respectively. The experimental results are in agreement with the values calculated with Ligand Field Theory (LFT) and radial wave function of nonfree copper (II). In particular, the spectra of some bis(amino acidato) copper (II) complexes are herein compared with each other as an important work of spectroscopic and structural study.

摘要:
The UV spectra of substituted salicylidene benzylamine schiff bases were studied in four solvents. It was found that substituents which increase the electronic effect and not the steric compression effect in these compounds increase the percentage of the keto form. The intensity (i.e. % keto) of the keto band which occurs at > 400 nm in the UV spectra increases in polar solvents.

摘要:
The complexes of Ni (His) 2·H2O, Ni (Gly) 2·2H2O, Pd (His)Cl2·H2O and Pd(Gly) 2·2H2O were synthesized. And the IR, electronic absorption and photoacoustic spectra of these complexes were measured in solid state. The nature of the metal-carboxylate coordinate bond were deduced from the variation in the carboxyl stretching frequencies. And the d-d transition absorptions of these complexes were interpreted quantitatively with the 3d scaling radial theory. Therefore, the structural characterizations were also discussed with their spectral behaviors.

摘要:
13C-{1H} nuclear Overhauser effects (n.O.e.) were measured for penicillin G in I2H6I-DMSO upon selective presaturation of proton resonances and interpreted on the basis of effective correlation times as calculated by analysis of13C and1H spin-lattice relaxation rates. Preferential occurrence of a compact C2puckered conformation with folding of the benzoylamino side chain towards the methyl at C2was given evidence. A Dreiding model of such conformation was built.

摘要:
The hydroxyl radical has been generated by the excimer laser photolysis of nitrous acid at 248 nm. Rotationally-resolved excitation spectra in the wavenumber range 32170–32745 cm−1of the hydroxyl (OH) radical obtained by the Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) technique have been assigned. The excitation spectra have been recorded both for a static precursor and a supersonic jet expansion. Jet-cooled spectra of the OH radical exhibit rotational cooling and allow comparison with the static cell spectra in terms of population distributions of low-lying rotational levels.
