摘要:
We simulate by means of computer the signals obtained in a level-crossing experiment, when the detection is made by multichannel sampling and photon correlation techniques applied to the fluorescence intensity as a function of time. From the simulated signals we study the errors with which the crossing field and width of the signal are obtained, and we compare the results obtained by both techniques.

摘要:
The previously developed force field for condensed aromatic hydrocarbons was used to calculate the mean amplitudes of vibration for hexacene and octacene. The values at 298 K for the nonbonded CC distances are reported as a supplement to previous studies. In particular is the range of mean amplitudes for zigzag chains extended substantially.

During plasma spectrum investigation in a discharge tube with hollow cathode, the conventional flat bottom of which is replaced with a conical one(1), an increase of the line intensity of the cathode material, as well as of the introduced sample, is observed(2,3,4); at the same time, the lines of the buffer gas change weakly (mostly decrease) their intensity.

A simple linear chain dynamical model is developed and applied to eight crystals having the CdC12structure. By substitution of Raman and infrared frequencies for the four fundamental zone centre optical modes, values of the principal interlayer force constants are derived for CdC12, CoC12, FeC12, MgC12, MnC12, NiC12, CdBr2and NiBr2.
