AbstractNeben den verbreiteten phänomenologischen Betrachtungen für das viskoelastische und viskose Verhalten erweichender Polymere haben sich die auf Eyring zurückführbaren Barrieretheorien bewährt. In dieser Arbeit werden nichtlineare Effekte zur Deutung herangezogen. Dabei wird gezeigt, daß bei der Bildung des freien Volumens, also bei der Entstehung beweglicher Filießelemente, eine Lockerung der Struktur erfolgt. Darüber hinaus wird die sich einstellende Sättigung der Zahl der beweglichen Elemente mit wachsender Temperatur als ein Effekt zweiter Ordnung erklärt. Oberhalb des Erweichungs‐ und Schmelzgebietes herrscht Arrheniusverhalten. Alle beobachteten Fließprozesse und Deformationen erweisen sich als Überlagerungen von rein elastischer Deformation, viskoelastischer Verformung und viskosem Fließen. Die neuerdings oft diskutierte Hoppingtheorie baut auf der Platzwechseltheorie auf. Im Fall der kautschukelastischen Dehnung führt die Berücksichtigung einer nichtlinearen Änderung des elastischen Potentials als Folge einer äußeren Beanspruchung zu einer S‐förmigen Krümmung im Zug‐Dehnungsverhalten, wobei in Erweiterung der Mooney‐Rivlin‐Beziehung die auftretende S

AbstractIn maltodextrin gels the junction zones of the network are microcrystalline domains consisting of polysaccharide chains. Such microcrystalline aggregates already exist in a 10% maltodextrin solution. If the degree of crystallinity rises above 10%, a gel is formed. In the 25% gel, 16% of the polysaccharide chains are involved in these junction zones. As calculated from the integral breadth of the peaks, the crystallite size of 17 nm is considerable smaller than the maximum dimension of 280 nm of the domains found by small‐angle X‐ray scattering. AbstractStructural changes in wool after treatment with alkalis, sulphuric and nitric acid and dodecyl sodium sulphate have been analysed by means of SAXS and WAXS methods. AbstractDie Xanthogenierungskinetik beim Revers‐ und herkömmlichen Verfahren zur Cellulosexanthogenierung wird verglichen.
