摘要:
Candida lipolyticaIA 1055 produced an extracellular emulsifier when using babassu oil as its sole carbon source during batch and fed batch fermentations at 27°C. Emulsification activity was detected after 60 h of growth in all conditions studied. The bioemulsifier was isolated after 144 h of fermentation from the best condition studied. The biopolymer seems to be a polysaccharide-protein-lipid complex.Key words: bioemulsifiers, biopolymer,Candida lipolytica, babassu oil, fermentation

摘要:
Using a mixture of three mono nitrophenols as sole carbon, nitrogen and energy sources, mixed cultures were enriched from municipal activated sludge to degrade both nitrophenols and nitrobenzene. Bacterial growth and degradation rate could be increased by supplementing the medium with 0.1% YE. Microorganisms were isolated from the nitrophenols enrichment, and they were identified as strains ofComamonas testosteroniandAcidovorax delafieldii. These strains showed broad degradation ability toward nitrophenols and nitrobenzene.Key words: biodegradation, nitrobenzene, nitrophenol,Comamonas testosteroni,Acidovorax delafieldii, mixed cultures.
