SYNOPSISAn account is given of the formation of aggregations on cotton seeds byDysdercus intermedius.The part played by visual and olfactory stimuli in the formation of these aggregations is discussed, and a possible mechanism for the formation of feeding aggregations by adults in the field is suggested.
