They include:Vasopressin—myocardial ischaemia, infarction, and arrhythmias; stroke; ischaemia and infarction of the intestine, spleen, skin, and scrotum; and activation of fibrinolysis.Somatostatin—gallstones, vomiting, diarrhoea, hyperglycaemia, pancreatitis, and local skin reactions.β-adrenoceptor blockers—encephalopathy, impaired cardiovascular response to bleeding, asthma, heart failure, nightmares, worsening of glucose tolerance, and impotence.Nitrates—headaches, hypotension, dizziness, flushing, and tachycardias.
