摘要:
Mulberry bacterial blight was observed in the Sericulture Experimental area at the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), Islamabad. The organism was identified asPseudomonas syringaepv.mori(Boyer and Lambert) Younget al.on the basis of biochemical, physiological tests and pathogenicity reactions. This is the first record of the pathogen in Pakistan, Out of 8Momsspp. testedM. indicaHusung China, Shine Ichinore, Gumji, Ichihie remained resistant, Japanese early moderately resistant; whileM. latifoliaandM. albawere susceptible in the field and in the laboratory tests.
