Starting from the parameter estimation problem in implicit models this paper describes algorithms for the numerical solution of nonlinear least squares problems with nonlinear equality constraints, The algorithms are based on the GAUSS-NEWTON/NEWTON-method. The combination of both techniques results in two-stage iterative procedures. A local convergence analysis of the described algorithms is given. The numerical methods are used for solving a parameter estimation problem arising in chemical kinetics

In der Arbeit wird für eine Klasse von Verteilungen ein Kriterium da für angegeben, daß die Verteilung der Statistik (X1−X3,X2−X3) die Ausgangsverteilung bis auf Verschiebung eindeutig bestimmt.Dabei wird mit Hilfe der Lösung einer Funktionengleichung für charakteristische Funktionen der Verteilungstyp der Ausgangsverteilung festgelegt.
