摘要:
The paper is a revision of the genusNeopallodesof which many species were formerly regarded asPallodes. The group considered is well separated from other genera of theCyllodescomplex by almost simple tarsomeres on all legs, by the proportions of distances between the different coxal pairs and by the exposed anal sclerite under the pygidial apex in males. The paper deals with 20 species from the Palaearctic and Indo-Malayan region, seven of which are described as new. A key to the known species of the genus is presented [adornans, affinisn. sp.,clavatus, dentatus, diffususn. sp.,ebenusn. sp.,falsusn. comb. (=lindskogin. syn.),glaesusn. sp.,globosusn. sp.,grouvellei, hilleri, inermis, omogonis, simillimusn. sp.,solaris, striatopunctatusn. sp.,subdentatusn. sp.,turulosusn. sp.,vicinus, vietnamicus]. «Neopallodes cardoni»Grouvelle 1894 is transferred to the family Erotylidae.

摘要:
The genusAubriaBoulenger 1917 (Amphibia Anura Ranidae), known from West and Central Africa, has remained monospecific until recently. It is now revised and discussed. A new species,Aubria occidentalisis described. A secondary female sexual character is observed and emphasized. Original colour pictures of living specimens are provided for the first time.

摘要:
Seventeen species of gonodactyloid stomatopods representing nine genera and four families are recorded from shore habitats in Somalia. All but one are new records for Somalia.Mesacturoides brevisquamatus(Paulson 1875) is recorded from below Djibouti for the first time. Two new genera are erected for species previously assigned to the genusPseudosquillaDana 1852,Pseudosquillanafor P.megalophthalmaBigelow 1893,PseudosquillismaforP. oculata(Brullé 1837) and two other species. A new host,Mesacturoides fimbriatus(Lenz 1905), is reported for the parasitic gastropod,Caledoniella montrouzieriSouverbie 1869.

The monotypic genusStagean. gen. and the speciesS. platypteran. sp. are described. The type was caught in Natal, South Africa. The genus shares several characters with the endemic South African generaStagiraStål 1861 andBaveaDistant 1905.

摘要:
The biomass of invertebrates at Narra Valley in the Namib Desert was estimated; rodents removed about 10% of the total invertebrate biomass each month. This level of predation surely has a major impact on local invertebrate communities.

摘要:
The genusIsotomiellais recorded for the first time on Sumatra island. Nine species have been collected, of which seven are new to science and described in this paper:Isotomiella annaen. sp.,I. barisann. sp.,I. deforestain. sp.,I. dubian. sp.,I. thiollayin. sp.,I. cribratan. sp. andI. michonaen. sp. The remaining two species, recently described from South America, are probably pantropical forms:I. symetrimucronataNajt & Thibaud 1987 (=prussianaeOliveira & Deharveng 1990, n. syn.) andI. nummuliferDeharveng & Oliveira 1990.

摘要:
A new species,Adinopsis mmabolela, from northern Transvaal, South Africa, is described and illustrated, and its relationship to other Afrotropical species ofAdinopsisCameron 1919 is briefly discussed. New country records for the following two Neotropical/Nearctic species are provided:A. myllaenoides(Kraatz 1857), new to Paraguay, andA. pubescensKlimaszewski 1982, new to Paraguay and Peru.Adinopsis drakei(Bernhauer 1857) [originally asDinopsis] is considered here to be a new junior synonym ofA. myllaenoides(Kraatz 1857). Ten new species groups of worldAdinopsisare proposed on the basis of male genitalic structures, to reflect phylogenetic affiliations.

摘要:
As result of cladistic methodology applied to the study of Gonyleptidae, four precocious branches are newly recognized in the phylogeny of the family. Three new subfamilies are proposed and diagnosed and a new concept is given for the Bourguyiinae Mello-Leitão 1923. Metasarcinae, a new subfamily is proposed for the BolivianMetasarcusRoewer 1913 (formerly in Mitobatinae) and an undescribed Argentinean genus.ChaconatusRoewer 1929 (formerly in Prostygninae) is herein considered to be a new junior subjective synonym ofMetasarcus.Heteropachylinae, a new subfamily is proposed for nine genera formerly described as Gonyleptinae or Pachylinae, and distributed along the Brazilian coast. Cobaniinae, a new subfamily is proposed for the genusCobaniaRoewer 1913. Bourguyiinae should be the correct spelling of a subfamily name based on the generic nameBourguyiaMello-Leitão 1923. In the present new concept, four of its five genera are removed, while eight others are transferred from the Gonyleptinae, Pachylinae and Progonyleptoidellinae. To reconstruct the phylogeny of Gonyleptidae, 16 morphological characters were analysed through HENNIG 86, providing a single most parsimonious cladogram of CI = 0.77. The branching pattern obtained is: (Metasarcinae (Heteropachylinae (Cobaniinae (Bourguyiinae + the other Gonyleptidae))).Piresa angulispinosisH. Soares 1966 is newly referred toMangaratibaMello-Leitão 1940.
