摘要:
Pricing for water conservation can save water resources and increase system revenues. That's why the Spalding County Water Authority voted unanimously for a new increasing rate structure. This article discusses uniform rate and increasing rate structures and outlines the results of implementing an increasing rate structure.

摘要:
Financial responsibility for operating a water system can seem overwhelming‐‐especially if you're a water system manager. But don't worry, you do not shoulder the responsibility alone. Your board or council, fellow workers, community volunteers, and customers share in the responsibility too. This article highlights some tasks involved in the financial management of a small utility.

摘要:
When checking for leaks, an operator uses a magnetic holder to hold the accelerometer against the surface being analyzed. The problem with this type of holder is that it can fall off a hydrant or curb stop. Because accelerometers are usually expensive instruments, damage is a serious problem. To solve this problem, an accelerometer clamp was devised to secure it. Construction materials and costs are given in the article.
