摘要:
Springs are one of the less common sources of water supply. The two types of springs, gravity and artesian, can be developed as water supply sources but the development must be tailored to the spring's geological conditions and sources. Development may include the construction of a reinforced concrete tank to encase the spring.

摘要:
This article discusses the instrumentation used in an automated filtration plant to measure rate of flow, loss of head, and turbidity. The article focuses on the importance of proper maintenance and calibration of the instruments, such as flow meters, dP cells, controllers, and turbidimeters, as well as the valves associated with the instruments.
