摘要:
A new fluorometric determination of hydroperoxides was proposed. Non-fluorescent diphenyl-1-pyrenyl-phosphine (DPPP) was oxidized quantitatively by hydroperoxides to a strong fluorescent DPPP oxide. A sensitive assay for lipid hydroperoxides was developed based on the reaction. The reaction of lipid hydroperoxides with DPPP was conducted in the dark in the mixture of chloroform and methanol at 60°C within 60 min. The contents of hydroperoxides showed linear relation to the fluorescence intensities in a wide concentration range. The sensitivity was 10,000 times higher than conventional iodometry. The correlation constant between peroxide values obtained by iodometry and by this method was 0.9993 (n=10). The sample size was minimized to less than 3 mg per tube.

摘要:
A simple and improved stability-indicating gas liquid chromatographic procedure using flame ionization detection is described for the determination of lidocaine hydrochloride in solution in the presence of N, N'-diethyl-methyl-glycine xylidide as internal standard (IST). This method is capable of distinguishing the intact drug from its thermal degradation products. A linear relationship between peak height ratio (lidocaine-HC1/IST) and lidocaine-HCl concentrations is found in the range of 10-50 μg/ml. The least squares regression line is Y=55.0 x + .0121 with a correlation coefficient of 0.998. The percent coefficient of variation of the assay within days is estimated at 2.12%.

摘要:
A new, rapid, simple, selective and sensitive method for the spectrophotometric determination of sulphathiazole is described. The drug forms a yellow coloured complex with Pd(II) in alkaline medium (1 M NaOH). The drug complex exhibits maximum absorbance at 410 nm, with a molar absorptivity of 1.9 × 1031 mol−1cm−1. Effects of molarity of NaOH, reagent concentration on the proper complex formation are discussed. The system obeys Beer's law in the concentration range of 10-160 ppm of sulphathiazole.
