摘要:
Ketorolac is an antiinflammatory-analgesic agent that is oxidizable at the glassy carbon electrode. The voltammetric oxidation produces two well resolved pH-dependent peaks, that are overlapped at pH>10. Using this voltammetric response a HPLC procedure with electrochemical detection in order to quantify ketorolac in pharmaceutical dosage forms is presented. Furthermore comparative methods using UV spectrophotometry and HPLC with photodiode array detector were used.

The electrochemical oxidation of hydroxylamine catalyzed by 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-acetylpiperidine-1-oxy (TMAPO) radical at a glassy carbon electrode in phosphate buffer solution has been studied. The reaction mechanism was investigated, and the rate constant for the catalytic reaction evaluated by differential pulse voltammetry is (4.4±0.2)×104M−1.s−1. The plot of the catalytic peak current vs. the concentration of hydroxylamine is linear in the range of 2×10−5– 1×10−2M. A voltammetric method for the analysis of hydroxylamine was proposed based on the linear relationship and the method was used successfully for determining hydroxylamine in the presence of nitrate, nitrite and ammonia.

The electrochemical polymerization of glutamic acid at the glassy carbon electrode was investigated in phosphate buffer solution by cyclic voltammetry. The applied voltage range, pH of electrolyte, cyclic number were explored for optimal polymerization conditions. The resulting film exhibits an electrocatalytic ability to hydrazine, reducing the overpotential by 500mV. The electrocatalytic response of hydrazine is evaluated with regard to pH, scan rate, applied voltage, hydrazine concentration and other variables. The rate constant of the catalytic reaction was 1.2 × 104M−1.s−1. When used as amperometric detector, the modified electrode yields a detection limit of 1 × 10−8M hydrazine. The electrode is rather stable even after use for a month and a reproducible response was obtained.

摘要:
A simple and rapid colorimetric method for the determination of isoniazid, iproniazid phosphate, phenylhydrazine hydrochloride and hydrazine hydrate is described. The method is based on the formation of a Schiff base when these compounds react with 4-dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde and measurement of the condensed products at 370–555nm. The procedure has been successfully applied to the assay of the pharmaceutical preparations containing the studied drugs and hydrazine, and phenylhydrazine mixture, and the results are compared to the official methods. All the different experimental conditions are studied and incorporated into the procedure.

A chromatographic method has been established for the determination of trace amounts of cobalt by preconcentration on Amberlite XAD-16 resin as cobalt/4-(2-Thiazolylazo) resorcinol (TAR) complexes. The conditions (e.g. pH, resin amounts, matrix ions) affecting the recovery of cobalt from aqueous solution were studied. The method has been employed for the determination of cobalt in natural water samples.

摘要:
A new spectrofluorimetric method for determination of germanium traces based on its reaction with 1,2,4-Trihydroxyantraquinone, at an apparent pH 8.8 provided by an ammonia/ammonium chloride buffer, in a 80:20(v/v) ethyleneglycol water medium is proposed. The calibration graph is linear over the range 70–725 ng/ml and features a detection limit of 2.5 ng/ml. The effect of potential major interferences has been investigated and the proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of germanium in synthetic samples and industrial concentrates, after extraction with CCl4, in an 9 M HCl medium.
