摘要:
A method of coating thickness determination using cathodic sputtering glow discharge as atomizer with atomic absorption spectrometry (GDAAS) is developed. By the relationship of absorbance A and the specific quantity of sputtering qc, Cu, Ni-P and Zn coating thickness determinations have been tested. Experiments show that if the relationship between A and qc has been established, no properly prepared standards are usually necessary. It is a generally suitable method for conducting samples. Precision > 2.6% and no systematic error has been found.

Several salts were investigated to enhance the room-temperature solid-matrix phosphorescence of the four stereoisomeric tetrols on filter paper. Thallium acetate was found to enhance the phosphorescence to the greatest extent, but it was necessary to prepare the thallium acetate in an acetic acid solution to achieve the maximum phosphorescence from the solid matrix. Also, thallium acetate essentially quenched the solid-matrix fluorescence of the tetrols. Without thallium acetate adsorbed on filter paper, strong room-temperature fluorescence signals were observed from the tetrols adsorbed on filter paper. With a new solid matrix, filter paper which contained silicone, no heavy-atom was needed to obtain strong phosphorescence from the adsorbed tetrols. In fact, the room-temperature fluorescence from the tetrols adsorbed on this type of filter paper was very strong. The room-temperature fluorescence gave a limit of detection in the sub-picogram range for one of the tetrols with the silicone treated filter paper.

摘要:
A new reagent isopropyl-3-pentadecylphenyl phosphoric acid (IPPA = HR) was synthesized from cardanol [I-37, 300-39-5] and was used to investigate the extraction behaviour of lanthanum(III), europium(III) and lutetium(III) from HCl and HClO4solutions into toluene. The species extracted were found to be Ln(HR2)3(where Ln = La(III) or Eu(III) or Lu(III). The extraction behaviour of above lanthanides has also been compared with yttrium and other rare earths. It was observed that the extraction increases with increase of atomic number of rare earths. In addition the extraction efficiency of IPPA has been compared with well known acidic organophosphorous extractants like di-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid (DEHPA) and 2-ethylhexyl-mono-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid (EHEHPA).

摘要:
An automated flow injection method for the determination of promazine is described. The method is based on the oxidation of promazine by hexacyanoferrate (III) and spectrophotometric monitorization of oxidized drug. The chemical and FIA variables were optimized. The calibration graph was linear over the concentration range 2,5–25 ppm of promazine hydrochloride. Some interfering substances were also investigated. The method was applied for the determination of promazine in pharmaceutical formulations.

Chromium (VI) can oxidize and decolor three colour reagents, i.e. 1,8-dihydroxy-2-(4′-chloro-2′-phosphonophenylazo)-7-(6″.8″-disulfonaphthylazo)-3,6-disulfonaphthalene (RI): 1,8-dihydroxy-2-(4′-chloro-2′-phosphonophenylazo)-7-(4″-sulfonamidephenylazo)-3,6-disulfonaphthalene (RII): and 1,8-dihydroxy-2-(4′-chloro-2′-phosphonophenylazo)-7-(p-hippuric acid azo)-3,6-disulfonaphthalene (RIII). Loss of absorbance of three colour reagents at maximum absorption wavelengths is proportional to the concentration of chromium (VI) in solution. We have made use of the decolorization reactions between chromium (VI) and three colour reagents to determine chromium in steel by flow injection analysis, and relative error in sample determination is less than 5.0%. Response is linear from 0.84 to 6.72 μg/mL and optimum measuring acidity is 1.3–1.7 mol/L H2SO4in three systems. The effect of interference ions on determination has been studied.
