摘要:
Since in ion-interaction chromatography the dependence of the retention on the concentration of the ion-interaction reagent (IIR) follows different behaviours for the different analytes, the adjustment of IIR concentration can usefully be used to optimize resolution. As an example, resolution between nitrate and p-aminophenol was investigated as a function of IIR concentration and mobile phase flow-rate. The IIRs used are an aqueous solution of octylamine, brought to pH=6.4 with o-phosphoric acid.

摘要:
A d.c. polarographic study has been carried out on the complexes of Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) with procaine in NH4Cl (0.6 M)/borax (0.07 M) buffer solution of pH 8.2. The data obtained indicate that the reduction of Co(II) and Ni(II) ions occur irreversibly in the presence of the chelating agent. The kinetic parameters (αn and K°f,h) of the two complexes were calculated. The study of Zn(II) complex shows a reversible reduction as indicated from the logarithmic analysis. The formed complex is (1:1) (metal:ligand), its formation constant was determined (log K=4.2±0.07).
