The paper deals with the results of studies concerning the effect of acid treatment, with l-4N HCl solutions, on natural zeolitic tuff from Mǐrid deposite (Romania) and on their structure and adsorption properties. The effect of thermal treatment on clinoptilolite acid resistance is also studied.

摘要:
This work characterizes a newly developed, sensitive and convenient spectrophotometric procedure for determination of sub-ppm concentrations of hydrazine and its organic derivatives. The method is based on formation of the cuprous neocuproine chelate after reaction of hydrazines with a prepared aqueous solution of the copper (II)-neocuproine complex. The cuprous chelate is then directly measured in aqueous solution at 458 nm. The effect of several experimental conditions influencing the reaction are presented and the method was employed for the analyis of 5 different hydrazine compounds. The standard deviation did not exceed ± 0.47%.

High molecular weight amines have been used for the extraction of citrate complexes of Ce(III), Gd(III) and Yb(III). The effect of different variables on extraction has been studied. The citrate species extracted in the organic phase have been proposed as [(RNH3+)3] [M(Cit)2]3-.

摘要:
Fifteen new hydroxamic acids were explored in conjunction with trioctyimethylammonium cation for the extractive separation of manganese into MIBK from the anions and cations commonly associated with the metal in environmental samples. The most rapid extraction with the maximum selectivity and sensitivity for the atomic absorption spectrometric determination of the metal in the MIBK extract was achieved with N-p-aminophenyl-2-furylacrylohydroxamic acid. The method enabled the determination of manganese at sub-ppb levels and was applied in the analysis of coal, manganese ore, plant tissue, animal tissue and natural waters.
