摘要:
The chemically modified electrode, which was constructed by depositing hemoglobin at the surface of glassy carbon electrode, shows significant electrocatalytic activity to the reduction of nitric oxide. The cathodic peak potential is −0.68V (vs.SCE). The effect of solution pH on the electrochemistry of nitric oxide was also studied. When used as an amperometric detector, the current is linear with concentration in the range from 2.9×10−4M to 1.1×10−2M and the detection limit is 1×10−4M nitrite.

摘要:
A highly dispersed ultramicro palladium-particle modified carbon fiber microdisk array electrode (Pd-CFE) was employed for capillary electrophoresis-elecrochemical (CEEC) detection of hydroxylamine (HA). The Pd particles obtained were in the nanometer scale, had a high electrocatalytic activity towards HA and exhibited good reproducibility and stability. A linear relationship between the current and the analyte concentration was found between 5 × 10−6and 1 × 10−3mol/1 of HA with a correlation coefficient of 0.9992. The detection limit was 5 × 10−8mol/1. The applicability of the method for the determination of HA in river water and waste water was investigated.

摘要:
A rapid and sensitive AAS method is described for the determination of copper, cadmium and lead based upon on-line preconcentration on a microcolumn packed with C18material. These heavy metals are complexed with dithizone from ammonical solutions in the flow injection system and adsorbed on the column. The preconcentrated species were eluted with acidified methanol (pH ≥ 2) and injected directly into the nebulizer for atomization in an air-acetylene flame for measurement. The retention efficiency was better than 98% resulting in sensitivity enhancement factors of 80, 90 and 60 for 10 ml sample containing copper, cadmium and lead, respectively. The respective detection limits are 1.2, 0.6 and 3.0 ppb for copper, cadmium and lead. The throughput of the samples was found to be 30/h, with a loading time of 1 min. The method has been applied to the analysis of marine sediment samples.

摘要:
The results obtained in the determination of mercury in solid wastes by AAS using two preparation methods1are compared through statistical parametric and non-parametric tests, linear regression and informational analysis of variance. The informational analysis of variance (IANOVA) method is a distribution-free procedure valid under minimal assumptions. It is not influenced by the range of the data and has very satisfactory robustness properties. Applying this algorithm to compare the effectiveness of the traditional water-bath digestion method with the microwave digestion method discussed in ref. 1, it was possible to assess the proportional errors introduced by microwave digestion method concerning the analysis of mercury in waste samples.
