摘要:
Bismuth in 5 ml of blood or 10 ml of urine is determined by dilution to 100 ml with 0.25MHCl, separation by anion exchange chromatography (Amberlite IRA-400 (Cl)), and measurement by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry in the presence of 0.1MKCl.

摘要:
Glutathione was found to fluoresce on reaction with N-chloro-5-dimethylaminonaphthalene-l-sulfonamide (NCDA). NCDA was applied to the assay of glutathione in solution and on reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography using tetra-n-butylammonium bromide as a paired ion. The latter method was applicable to the assay of blood glutathione.

摘要:
Electrophoresis at high temperature was applied for studying the thermal behaviour of the membrane bound protein cytochrome b5. Approximately 95% cytochrome b5remains in the associated state after thermal transition. Thus, the transition obtained by physical methods is not due to a dissociation of the octameric cytochrome b5but to changes in chape. The described method of high temperature electrophoresis seems to be an important tool for distinguishing between dissociation and unfolding processes.

摘要:
A three-electrode system with the hanging electrolyte drop electrode (HEDE) was developed for the analytical exploitation of electrolysis at the interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions (ITIES). The use of the differential pulse stripping voltammetry (DPSV) for the quantitative determination of the species which participates in a charge transfer reaction at ITIES was demonstrated with acetylcholine cation transfer across the water/nitrobenzene interface. Trace concentration of acetylcholine in water in the part per million level (ppm) can be determined. It was concluded that the electrolysis at ITIES represents the perspective method of chemical analysis.

摘要:
A method is described for the analysis of total platinum content in a variety of histologically distinct animal tissues, plasma and urine following therapeutic dosing with cisplatin. Sample preparation involved only tissue homogenization. Read-out was based on non-flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. By careful optimization of instrument parameters, sample matrix effects could be overcome, eliminating the need for sample digestion. Accordingly, 0.02–4 μg of total platinum/g of sample could readily be determined without influence on absolute absorbancy readings by the environment in which cisplatin was present.

摘要:
This paper describes a very versatile laminar flowthrough cell designed to perform enthalpimetric determinations of biochemical substrates in the field of clinical and biochemical analysis. The performance of the apparatus is demonstrated for the glacose/glucose-oxidase system instrument. Sensitivity allows determination of glucose concentrations in the range of 10−3Moles/litre. Other enzyme-substrate exothermic reactions can be used without any modification of the instrument.

摘要:
5-methoxycarbonoyl-1-methyl-2-thio-1,2-dihydropyridine and 1-metyl -2-thio-1,2-dihydropyridine-5-carboxylic acid heve been studied by recent electrochemical methods. The analysis of classical, alternative (A.C.) and pulse polarograms led to precise the nature of the observed currents. The pH variatiors and the supporting electrolyte modifications have an important influence on these currents.
