摘要:
Two types of carbon paste electrodes containing ubiquinone (CoQ) and glucose oxidase (GOD) were constructed, and their electrochemistry and amperometric response to substrate were investigated. For one type of electrode in which the surface of carbon particles was covered with a part of CoQ molecules added, it was found that the CoQ adsorbed on the carbon particles exerted an insulating effect on the electrode reaction. For the other type of electrode in which the surface was preadsorbed with GOD and most of CoQ was dissolved in the liquid paraffin phase, it was demonstrated that CoQ served as an electron transfer mediator. The latter electrode showed amperometric responses to glucose in the applied potential range 300 – 500 mV and a linear response in the range 0.2 – 4.0 mM in an electrolyte solution (pH 7.0).

摘要:
A glucose biosensor flow injection system was applied for measurement of liposome membrane permeability. Glucose was enclosed in the inner aqueous phase of liposomes, and release of the glucose upon addition of a biologically active substance was monitored with this sensor system. As an illustrative example, we estimated the membrane-disrupting activities of the bee venom melittin and the antibiotic gramicidin S using the present system. This procedure has certain advantages over the classical spectrophotometric determination of glucose, being rapid, simple and economical.

摘要:
Chemically modified electrodes with Methylene Green (MG) incorporated into carbon paste exhibit excellent electrocatalytic ability for reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH), reducing oxidation overpotential by 600mV compared with the direct oxidation of NADH at unmodified electrode. In flow injection analysis (FIA) of NADH, MG-modified carbon paste electrodes show high catalytic activity and stability, with linear response range over about 3 orders of magnitude and a detection limit of 1.0 pmol. Furthermore, the influence of various experimental conditions was explored for optimum analytical performance.

摘要:
Regenerated silk fibroin was successfully used to immobilize glucose oxidase and the structure of the blend membrane was investigated. The molecules of glucose oxidase in the membrane were in aggregates. Glucose sensor was fabricated by coupling the blend membranes with Clark electrode. Its kinetic constants such as apparent Michael's constants Kmapp, maximal current response ΔSmaxand apparent activation energies Ea of the reaction, effects of pH, temperature and ethanol on the sensor were examined.

In the previous immune complex transfer enzyme immunoassay for anti-HTLV-I IgG, the transfers of polystyrene beads in and out of test tube were handled with tweezers, and the bound β-D-galactosidase activity was measured with a fluorometer. The use of tweezers was considered the primary cause of false-positivity by carryover. Furthermore, the testing of many samples using a tweezer as a means of transfer was difficult. In the present immune complex transfer enzyme immunoassay, polystyrene beads were attached to plates through cylindrical bars and were used in microplate wells. Therefore, no tweezers were required. The bound β-D-galactosidase activity was measured with a fluororeader. This allowed the elimination of false-positivity due to carryover and made it easier to test many samples with higher sensitivity and reliability.

摘要:
A simple, spectrophotometric method for the determination of indapamide using ammonium molybdate in dosage forms is described. Indapamide forms blue coloured complex in acidic medium with molybdate having maximum absorbance at 710 nm. The molar absorptivity is 6.1 × 1031 mol−1cm−1. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 2.5 – 30 μg/ml of indapamide.

摘要:
The Cu(II)-atenolol complex was prepared, and characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques (via. IR, electronic and EPR spectra). The spectral results obtained indicate tetrahedral geometry around the Cu(II) ion. An indirect atomic absorption spectrometric method was undertaken to estimate atenolol in pharmaceutical preparations, based on its reaction with Cu2+in alkaline medium. The method is simple, rapid, accurate and sensitive.

摘要:
An HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of beclomethasone dipropionate and its principal degradation products has been developed. The only sample treatment necessary for the analysis is its dilution with methanol. The practical detection limit is 0.02 % of each impurities in terms of the parent drug, whereas the absolute limit of detection is 2.5 ng of each injected compound. The method has been applied to the analysis of both pharmaceutical formulations and samples of bulk drug.

摘要:
Two methods, the multivariate linear regression and full spectrum technique in the fourier domain, were studied for simultaneous determination of cobalt(I), copper(I) and nickel(I) in mixture. Two programs, SPGRMLR and SPGRFSQ, were designed to perform these calculations. In the full spectrum method, seven error functions were calculated for estimating the number of factors and data reduction was fulfilled by factor analysis. Experimental results showed the full spectrum method to be more powerful than multivariate linear regression. Both methods were demonstrated to be successful in the present case.
