The present paper presents a solution of the differential equation of motion of the resonant vibrating wire electrode and also computer simulations of wire resonance spectra. The influence of wire tension and torque on the generation of resonance doublets is portrayed, as well as the mechanical and electrochemical response of Pb-coated wires.

摘要:
The system Fe3+-5-Br-PADAP, in the presence of Triton X-100, has been studied. The molar ratio of Fe3+/5-Br-PADAP in the complex is 1:2 at pH 2–6; the molar absorptivity is 8.64 × 104at 595 nm and the apparent stability constant is1.84 × 1013. A more sensitive spectrophotometric method for iron determination was developed. The iron contents of Chinese leaf tea samples determined by this method are 0.024% for Qimen Black Tea and 0.037% for Tunxi Green Tea. The results are in agreement with those obtained by the o-phenanthroline method.

摘要:
Triaminotriphenylamine was used as a new spectrophotometric reagent for the determination of sulfur dioxyde and nitrogen dioxide in the atmosphere. The absorption maxima of SO2and NO2compounds differ from that of the reagent. Based on a kinetic study, the experimental conditions for the determination of sulfur dioxide in the presence of nitrogen dioxide were established.

This paper describes the construction of a colorimeter with a working volume of 230 nL and light path of 11 mm. The performance of the apparatus is demonstrated by the measurement of magnesium and inorganic phosphate in simulated biologic fluid.Sensitivityis less than 10−12mole.

摘要:
β-Cyclodextrin is first immobilized on the gel supports of polyacrylamide and agarose. The resulting stationary phase containing β-cyclodextrin chemically bonded on polyacrylamide shows novel selectivity in the liquid chromatographic separation of disubstituted benzene isomers. Thep-isomers are retained more strongly compared with theo-orm-isomers.

摘要:
An analytical method has been developed for the determination of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in sewage sludges, involving solvent extraction with cyclohexane, clean-up of the extract using silica gel thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and final separation of the purified PAH by two-dimensional TLC. Semiquantitative evaluation of sample chromatograms was achieved by comparison with standard chromatographic plates under ultra-violet light. Results are presented for a comparison of extraction procedures, determination of extraction efficiency by two different methods and for the analysis of sewage sludges taken from twelve UK sewage treatment works. The merits and limitations of the analytical scheme are discussed.
