摘要:
A rapid, simple, and sensitive method was developed for the determination of three cresol isomers and phenol in urine. The sample was spiked with m-chlorophenol, as internal standard, and hydrolyzed with sulfuric acid at ambient temperature. The hydrolyzed solution was saturated with ammonium sulfate and extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was injected without derivatization into a gas chromatograph fitted with a flame ionization detector and a glass column packed with 0.1% SP 1000 on Carbopack C. All four analytes, which eluted within 13 minutes, were quantified from standard curves.

A highly sensitive and rapid procedure is described for submicro quantitation of copper and zinc contents from the nitric acid extract of fat free-dry-tissue (FFDT) by a double beam atomic absorption spectrophotometer using stoichiometric air-acetylene flame. Simultaneous background correction was afforded with a deuterium lamp for Zn analysis to eliminate interferences from non-atomic absorption at 213.9 nm. Cu and Zn standards, as well as the muscle extracts, were prepared in an aqueous medium containing 0.75 M Ultrex quality HNO3for spectral analysis which did not quench or enhance the relevant absorbance signals. Inherent mineral constituents of muscle such as Ca, Mg, Na, K, and P, when added upto ∼10-60 fold greater than the physiological concentration, did not cause either analytical or chemical interferences. Muscle specimens weighing between 0.8-12.0 mg FFDT were extracted in 5 ml of 0.75 M HNO3and directly aspirated into the flame. Muscle Cu and Zn contents were expressed in mg/kg FFDT. The smallest sample size confidently analyzed using this technique was ∼0.4 mg FFDT which corresponds to 2.0 mg of fresh tissue and can be safely obtained from a patient by muscle needle biopsy. Recovery studies from the inherent muscle matrix revealed 100.01 ± 0.399 and 99.64 ± 0.13% precisions for Cu and Zn respectively.

A simple but reliable method for the determination of aluminum in serum by flameless atomic absorption spectrometry is described. By use of the Zeeman background correction, the interferences are eliminated. However, considering the numerous possible sources of contamination, extreme precautions are necessary both when taking and storing the serum. The procedures preceding the dosageper semust be minimized. The within-day and clay-to-day precision data (CV %) was 3.28 and 3.82 respectively. The average recovery for aluminum was 97.5 %. We used this method on serum from 30 healthy subjects and from 300 patients on hemodialysis. The mean aluminum concentration for the healthy subjects was 5.35 μg/l (SD ± 0.53) while the values for the hemodialyzed patients ranged from 20 to 220 μg/l.

摘要:
This paper describes a method of direct determination of serum Ni by controlled- temperature graphite furnace of AA. Ammonium oxalate is used as a matrix modifier to eliminate interferences caused by chlorides of alkali and alkaline earth in sample. The operating procedure has been applied to determine Ni contents of serum from 190 adults in Hefei district of China and good results have been obtained.

A glc analysis method utilizing a flame ionization detector was developed to determine nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA). Lyophilized samples of an aqueous extract from leaves ofL. divaricatawere reconstituted in water at a concentration of 50 mg/ml. A 100 mcl aliquot of this solution had 50 mcl of the internal standard solution, p,p'-biphenol (0.4 mg/ml in methanol) added followed by extraction with benzene:isopropyl alcohol (98:2), evaporation, and trimethylsilylation with N,O-bis-(trimethylsilyl)-acetamide. Glc analysis was accomplished using a 10% OV-101 on 80/100 Gas Chrom Q column. Accuracy and precision for the glc method was demonstrated over the range of anticipated concentration of NDGA in theL. divaricataleaves. The content of NDGA present in the leaves was found to be 1.6%.

摘要:
Phenazopyridine was found to react with each of 2, 6-dichloroquinone chlorimide (DCQ) and 2,6-dibromoquinone chlorimide (DBQ) in the presence of sodium acetate to produce a green colour peaking at 700 nm. The produced colour was found to obey Beers law in the range of 2-25 μg/ml. The molar ratio of the reaction could be realized, and a proposal of the reaction pathway was presented. The suggested procedure could be applied successfully to the determination of phenazopyridine HCl in tablets and the results obtained were compared favourably with those given with the official method.

The detection limits of drugs in quantitative RRA are primarily determined by their affinities towards the receptor. Yet, the concentration of radiolabeled ligand, necessary for quantification of receptor-bound drug, increases the theoretical detection limit. Therefore the influences of low temperatures and pre-incubation on the detection limit was studied.

摘要:
A rapid, precise and selective method is described for determination of penicillin derivatives. Penicillin derivatives are separated from closely related degradation products by high performance liquid chromatography at ambient temperature using 10cm column packed with 5um Nucleosil RP18and buffered aqueous acetonitrile as mobile phase. The eluate is monitored at 254nm. The procedure is suitable for determination of 8 penicillin derivatives either in raw material or phamaceutical dosage forms.

A rapid, precise and selective method is described for determination of penicillin derivatives - Penicillin derivatives are separated from closely related degradation products on reversed phase C18thin layer by using solvent system methanol - aqueous KH2PO4acetonitrile (8:4 : 1). The pH was adjusted to pH 4.1 ± 0.05. The plates were air dried and measure on spectrodensitometer at 230 nm wavelength. The results of analysis show good agreement with official methods.
