摘要:
We derive a Hermite interpolation formula with remainder for a function analytic on a disk. Given such a function,f, and given a preassigned matrix of nodesZ(all such nodes being in a certain closed subdisk), we show that the sequence of Hermite interpolation polynomials forfassociated withZconverges uniformily tofon the closed subdisk.

摘要:
Heuristic arguments are given to explain the presence of the term ‐‐2bccos a in the cosine law. The arguments presuppose the sine law and Pythagoras's theorem. The explanation hinges on the mean value theorem of differential calculus, since the triangle in question is viewed as resulting from a perturbation of a suitable right triangle.
