AbstractThe elastic scattering of electrons on the cut‐off Coulomb potentialUc(r) = −1/r+ 1/rc, forr≦rcandUc(r) = 0, forr>rc, has been considered. It has been shown that for ε>0.5/rc(ε is the energy of free electrons in atomic units) the analytical quasi‐classical expressions describe quite well the behaviour of transport, differential and total cross sections for elastic scattering. It has been shown moreover, that in the energy range considered, transport cross section could be determined with practically the same accuracy already by means of classical, analytical expressions. 摘要:
AbstractIt is possible to improve the resolving power at the determination of the resonance frequency and the cavityQby the timed modulation af a plasma loading the resonator. By this we get a higher exactness for the determination of the plasma parameters. The resonance curves obtained by aid of the differences of the output signals of the resonator result from the solutions of a nonlinear system of equations. The existence and uniqueness of the solutions are discussed in some special cases.

摘要:
Abstract1A computer model is designed in which the lamp voltage is obtained by solving the equations of the operating circuit.2The lamp resistance is determined by using hydrodynamic equations for the lamp plasma with following conditions:— three level model of Hg vapour ground, one lumped excited and the ionization level— direct and stepwise ionization are included as well as deexcitation and radiative decay— the plasma is controlled by ambipolar diffusion— no excitation and ionization of the buffer gas is assumed— both the buffer gas and neutral Hg atoms are considered to be equal distributed over the cross‐section of the discharge tube.3The model allows to calculate the main time dependent lamp parameters and their time averaged values.4We found a good qualitative and quantitative (about 1 to 5%) agreement compared with standard fluorescent lamps.5The model shows the tendency of lamp voltage increasing to smaller tube diameters.6The model gives qualitatively the right dependence of lamp efficacy on the buffer gas pressure.7The behaviour of the angle of lag and the power factor in dependence on the tube diameter obtained by the model shows also the right tendency.1Further calculations and experimental verifications are needed to reach several improvements o
