摘要:
A cutting-edge perspective of the emerging dietary and health benefits of dairy foods was presented in a program session at The American Dietetic Association's 80th Annual Meeting on October 28, 1997 in Boston, Massachusetts. This session was sponsored by National Dairy Council and Kraft Foods, Inc. The recent research and clinical applications related to dairy foods presented by leading experts at this meeting are summarized in this article. The new dietary recommendations for calcium, lactose intolerance, and the potential health benefits of conjugated linoleic acid, a component in dairy foods, are discussed.
