摘要:
AbstractThe composition of dense alkali plasmas is calculated accounting for the formation of neutral clusters as well as positively and negatively charged molecular ions. The resulting values for the critical point of the liquid‐gas phase transition are in better agreement with experimental data as previous theoretical work. The simultaneous occurence of the metal‐nonmetal transition is discussed by means of the elctrical conductiv

摘要:
AbstractPseudopotential approach allows to include the quantum mechanical effects and eliminates the short range classical divergence. At high temperature, when the De Broglie wavelength for a pair of particles, , is larger than the Landau length, Lij, we have to introduce quantum mechanics. For two point‐charge particles without screening, we study the pseudopotential, uij(r), numerically. We give expansions of the pair radial distribution function, gij(r) ( = exp(—βuij(r))) in increasing powers of . For a pair of electrons, exchange effects are taken into account. With these pseudopotentials, we study a dense multicomponent plasma using classical methods and we evaluate thermodynamic funct

摘要:
AbstractThe effect of multiple ionization in dense plasmas is studied. By including the Coulomb interactions into the chemical potentials generalized Saha equations are derived. The existence of the following feedback loop is verified:(i)Multiply charged ions strongly enhance the nonideality;(ii)Nonideality enhances multiple ionization.Based on the pair distribution function at small distances simple expressions for the ionization recombination coefficients are derived.

AbstractThe molecular dynamics data of HANSEN, MCDONALD and POLLOCK [1] on the dynamical properties of the classical one‐component plasma (OCP) are compared with the results based on an approximation formula for the dielectric function [2]satisfying all known sum rules and exact relations using HNC plasma static properties [3

摘要:
AbstractNumerical values of the exchange‐correlation contributions of the pressure, the free energy and the chemical potential are obtained for hydrogen at any degree of degeneracy. The evaluations are performed with the RPA‐dielectric function for the Montroll‐Ward contribution by integration over real frequencies. The influence of the proton degeneracy is analyzed for increasing degeneracy of the electrons. A comparison with the correlation part of the free energy and of the chemical potential without proton degeneracy is

摘要:
AbstractThe transport coefficients of a nonideal plasma are expressed by equilibrium correlation functions within the ZUBAREV approach. Besides the treatment of the different interactions in a partially ionized plasma, this approach allows also for the currents of the heavy particles ions and atoms. Furthermore, the influence of an arbitrary mass ratio on the transport coefficients is investigated. Explicit results are shown for H (n= 1017… 1020cm−3,T= (1…3) · 104K) and Cs plasma (n= 1015…1021cm−3,T= (3

摘要:
AbstractThe electrical conductivity of partially ionized sodium‐cesium plasmas is calculated starting from the electron kinetic equation taking into account the electron‐electron, electron‐ion and the elastic electron‐atom scattering. The transport cross sections follow from the scattering phase shifts solving the corresponding Schrödinger's equation with effective interaction potentials. In order to calculate the plasma composition a coupled law of mass action is used. The electrical conductivity of the plasma mixture is then discussed for densities 1016…1021cm−3and for temperatures 300
