摘要:
SummaryIsoenzyme patterns were studied in local populations of the carp (Cyprinus carpio) and the bream (Sarotherodon mossambicus) of the Cyprinid family. and in the trout (Sabno giardneri) of the family Salmonidae. Homogenates of heart muscle extracts were used in the identification of PGI. NADP‐IDH. PGM and 6‐PGD.Polymorphisms found and gene frequencies obtained are discussed separately for each enzyme and species or population. In the bream, variation was found only at the PGI locus. In the carp only the PGM locus was polymorphic whereas both PGM and IDH showed variation in the trout. The variation at the PGM locus in the trout cannot support the three locus model suggested elsewhere and clearly indicates a single locus for the mo‐nomeric enzyme. The large variety of NADP‐IDH types in trout not only illucidates the complexity of this locus but confirms a disomic mode of inheritance. Genetic differences in the trout populations could be related to possible advantages for management p

摘要:
SummaryWhite muscle samples of Antarctic fish (Notothenia rossii, N., neglecta. N. gibbe‐rifronsandChaenocephalus (aceratus) were subjected to electrophoretic tests. lsoelectric focusing of general muscle proteins provides a quick method of iden‐tyfying species. Six muscle enzymes were resolved by horizontal starch gel clectrophoresis. These are presumed to be the products of ten independent gene loci. Coefficients of genetic distance were calculated and substantially agree with the conventional taxnomy. Levels of genetic variability are within the normal range for marine teleosts. Two polymorphic enzymes. GPI and PGM. might prove useful as ‘genetic tags’ for stock identif

摘要:
SummaryLeucine aminopeptidase in sheep serum was studied by starch gel electrophoresis. Two phenotypes, A and B, were observed, of which the former was present in 70–90%of all the sheep examined. These two phenotypes have been shown to be controlled by a single autosomal locus, with two allelesLayAandLapB. TheLapAallele is dominant. The frequencies of Lap phenotypes and alleles were determined in eleven Spanish and two foreign breeds. Serum alkaline phospatase and serum leucine aminopeptidase are electrophoretically distinc

摘要:
SummaryThe vitamin D binding protein (Gc) and posttransferrin‐2 (Ptf‐2) phenotypes have been determined in a number of Belgian cattle breeds. A very slow migrating variant of the Gc protein — Gc C — has been found in White and Red East Flemish breed. This variant was absent from the other breeds studied. This slow variant was identified as a vitamin D binding protein by autoradiography. The Gc C protein was shown to be controlled by a codominant autosomal alleleGc Cat the Gclocus. The Gc C protein is probably identical with a fraction previously described in buffalo and an Italian cattle breed. The allele frequencies for the Gc and Pft‐2 systems are reported for several Belgian breeds

摘要:
SummaryThe results of the second International BoLA Workshop, held in Wageningen, Netherlands in July 1980, are reported. These results arise from a comparison of 362 alloantisera to bovine lymphocytes, originating from 9 laboratories. The an‐tisera were tested against a selected panel of 144 lymphocyte samples, originating from 7 laboratories. Some of the antisera and lymphocytes had also been tested during the First International BoLA Workshop in 1978.Ten of the eleven specificities defined at the first workshop were confirmed, and an additional six new specificities were designated. Two of the additional specificities are subgroups of the w6 specificity. The data from this workshop are consistent with the hypothesis that BoLA antigens are controlled by a series of codominant alleles at a single autosomal locu

摘要:
SummaryThe K system in pigs included at least 6 internationally recognized blood group factors (Ka, Kb, Kc, Kd, Ke and Kf) controlled by the following alleles:Kacef, Kacf, Kade, Kae, KbfandK‐ (Andresen, 1963; Brucks 1967, Hojný et al. 1967, Saison 1967, Hojný, Hradecký&Pazdera, 1979). This paper describes the results obtained with a new antiserum, Kg, by which subgrouping of theKadeallele intoKadeorKadegis poss
