摘要:
The new genus,Parathylacorhynchus(family Schizorhynchidae), is characterized by broad, thin, strongly folded proboscis halves and by paired testes posterior to the pharynx. The interstitialP. reidisp.n. is distinguished by three bands of holdfasts, a single genital opening, a dorsally muscularized and ventrally unmuscularized posterior region of the prostatic bulb, a sharp curved stylet, and paired spermatic ducts.

摘要:
A total of 500 fishes (59 species) from Israel's Mediterranean coastal waters were examined for digenetic trematodes and 201 (40.2%) harbored at least one species. One new genus (Propar‐vipyrum) and 11 new species are described: Bacciger israelensis (Fellodistomidae) from Sarpa salpa and Boops boops; Ancylocoelium israelense and Chrisomon israelensis (both Monor‐chiidae) from Atule djeddaba; Diphtherostomum israelense (Zoogonidae) from Diplodus sargus, D. vulgaris and Saurida undosquamis; Proparvipyrum israelense (Zoogonidae) from Mullus surmuletus; Acanthocolpoides israelensis (Lepocreadiidae) from Sardinella maderen‐sis; Neolepidapedon israelense (Lepocreadiidae) from Mullus surmuletus; Podocotyle jaffen‐sis (Opecoelidae) from Denlex filosus; Podocotyle (Pedunculotrema) israelensis frqm Pomadasys incisus and Pelates quadrilineatus; Lecithochirium haifense (Hemiuridae) from Atule djeddaba; Lecithochirium israelense from Trachinus araneus and Scyris alexandrina. 36 previously known species were identified, and all represent new geographical distribution records. Some Red Sea immigrant fishes brought trematodes with them to the Mediterranean and some acquired Atlanto‐Mediterranea

摘要:
Eucrenonaspides oinothekegen. et sp.n., of the family Psammaspididae, is described. The species was found in a spring at Devonport, NW Tasmania, and is the first spring‐dwelling syncarid recorded from the Australian region. The description of the family Psammaspididae is amended to permit the inclusion of the genus Eucrenonaspides. In the light of the morphology of the Psammaspididae, a revised classification of the order Anaspidacea is suggested. In the new classificatory scheme, the order Anaspidacea contains two sub‐orders, Anaspidinea (containing Anaspididae and Koonungidae) and Stygocaridinea (containing Stygocarididae and Psammaspidid

摘要:
The lysianassid genus Centromedon G. O. Sars, 1891 is redescribed. The genus comprises five species, viz. C. pumilus (Lilljeborg, 1865), C. productus (Goës, 1866), C. typhlops (G. O. Sars. 1879), C. calcaratus (G. O. Sars, 1879) and C. pavor Barnard, 1966. The new diagnosis reflects' the intrageneric variation. Such an approach to a definition at generic level is discussed. Full redescriptions of C. pumilus, C. productus, C. typhlops and C. calcaratus are given. The redescription of C. typhlops is based on material from the Norwegian basin collected by the French‐Swedish expedition (NORBI) in 19

摘要:
The morphology and arrangement of the teeth in 13 sympatric species of the genusBlenniuswere investigated by SEM. All the species were collected in the upper littoral of the Northern Adriatic near Rovinj (Yugoslavia) and represent the total species inventory of the genusBlenniusin this area. After analysing the content and length of the intestine, four groups with different feeding habits could be distinguished to which the morphological adaptations of the teeth could be correlated. There is a non‐selective omnivorous group of Aufwuchs‐grazer which take the inhabiting vagilfauna{Blennius gattorugine, B. incognitas, B. tentacularis), a herbivorous group (B. sanguinolentus, B. sphynx, B. canevae), a carnivorous group (B. trigloides, B. dalmatinus, B. rouxi), and a linking group between omnivorous grazers and carnivores(B. adriaticus, B. pavo, B. nigriceps). B. galeritashows a preponderance of comblike teeth and feeds exclusively scraping microscopic algae from the rocky substrate. The morphology and position of the caniniforms vary greatly within the investigated species. The dentition on the vomer is lacking in five species and seems of no consequence in the uptake of f

摘要:
The morphology, infraciliature, and silverline system ofMalacophrys viridissp.n., a green‐yellow coloured ciliate with symbiotic blue‐green algae is described. Dying animals discharge a substance with a dark red autofluorescence. This curious ciliate shares features of the classes Kinetofragminophora (basket) and Oligohymenophora (true buccal cavity with two adoral membranelles and a paroral membrane). Its infraciliature and silverline system shows criteria of the orders Prostomatida, Nassulida‐, Parahymenostomatida, Hymenostomatida, and Scuticociliatida. This unique combination allows us to create the new family Malacophryidae whose systematic position remains uncertain. Perhaps they are primitive Nassulida or Parahymenostom

摘要:
Three trematodes are described from three different species of Karachi coast fishes.Complexo‐bursa magnasp.n., fromLates calcarifer, is characterized by its large body size, unlotxjd rounded ovary, large operculate eggs, and numerous vitelline follicles extending from the preacetabular region to the posterior end of the body.Monorchis heterorchissp.n., from the fishMuraenesox cinereus, is also characterized by its relatively large body, median transversely elongated testes of variable shapes, ovary consisting of four distinct follicles and relatively large operculate eggs.Waretrema piscicolaSrivastava, 1937 is reported here from the Karachi coast 17 years after its last report from the Philippines, in the same host (Scato‐phaugs argus) but from a new local

摘要:
The type species ofPhallodrilusPierantoni, 1902,P. parthenopaeusPierantoni, 1902; is redescribed on the basis of new material from W Scotland. The species is characterized by its specific spermathecal and penial setae, its very slender atria, and its long spermathecal ducts. Sexually fully mature specimensof P. obscurusCook, 1969 are described for the first time, on the basis of material from New Jersey (E USA). The new material shows that this species possesses 5 to 9 penial setae in each ventral bundle of segment XI, and that its atria are coated with a relatively thick musculature.
