摘要:
A capillary manometer system for the preparation of gas mixtures with a ratio of components of 1,000,000 or more is described. It comprises three substantially identical pairs of manometers, with appropriate pressure regulators. Conservation of desk space is secured by placing the capillaries in a vertical position.

摘要:
The frequencies of the Curie cut quartz oscillator plates from 60 to 320 kc/sec are shown to be discontinuous functions of the dimensions.The K, ``meters per millimeter,'' is shown to vary from 90 to 145.It is suggested that the use of relative power measurements will insure a single frequency crystal operating at minimum damping.

摘要:
Palladium in contact with platinum, has been heated to the melting point starting with different initial temperatures. Different methods of contact and different times of heating were used. Spectrographic, photomicrographic and chemical analyses show definite contamination which increases with both temperature and time. Palladium point determinations indicate that this contamination may account for inconsistent results observed in the melting point.
