Sarcococca saligna(Buxaceae) has yielded three new steroidal amines.E-salignone (1),Z-salignone (2) andNa-demethylsaracodine (3). The proposed structures of these alkamines are based on spectroscopic studies.

摘要:
(R)-(−)-1-Benzyloxycarbonyl-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)methyl-3-pyrroline (16) was prepared from (S)-malic acid. The key steps involved a highly regio andtransstereoselective reductive alkylation of N-benzylmalimide (4). This constitutes a formal asymmetric synthesis of natural (-)-anisomycin (2).

摘要:
Two new triterpenoidal alkaloids, (+)-Na,Nb-dimethylbuxupapine (1) (20S)-3β-dimethylamino-20-dimethylamino-9,10-seco-buxa-9(11),1(10)-dienel, and (+)-16a-hydroxypapillamidine (2) {(20S)-16α-hydroxy-3β-methyl-acetylamino-20-methylamino-9,10-seco-buxa-9(11),10(19)-diene} were isolated from the methanolic extract of the leaves ofBuxus papillosa.The structures of these compounds were elucidated with the help of extensive spectroscopic studies. The structure of compound1was further confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction technique.

摘要:
The mediterranean tunicateAplydium sp.contains a new hydroxydiprenylhydroquinone1together with the known compound 2-[(2′E,6′E)-3′7′-dimethylocta-2′6′-dienyl]benzene-1,4-diol (2). The structure of1was elucidated by interpretation of spectral data. Both compounds showed significant cytotoxicity against four tumor cell lines, in particular, against P-388 mouse lymphoma suspension culture.

From the aerial parts ofBosistoa selwynii(Rutaceae) four novel prenylated acetophenones were isolated and identified as pyranoselwynone (5-hydroxy-6-acetyl-{6,6-dimethyl-5ξ-hydroxy-4,5-di-hydropyrano}-[3,2-h]-2,2-dimethylbenzopyran), selwynone (5,7-dihydroxy-6-acetyl-8-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)-3,4-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-3ξ-hydroxypyran), furanoselwynone (5-hydroxy-6-acetyl-{5-[1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl]-4,5-dihydro-furano}-[3,2-h]-2,2-dimethylpyran), and isofurano-selwynone (7-hydroxy-8-acetyl-{5-[1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl]-4,5-dihydrofurano}-[3,2-f]-2,2-dimethylpyran). Other compounds isolated were a series of eight acridone alkaloids (reported on previously), the coumarins scopoletin and braylin and the triterpenes lupeol and β-amyrin. The structures of the new acetophenones were elucidated on the basis of NMR spectral data.
