摘要:
The electrical conductivities of many solid electrolytes are discussed in relation to their crystal structures: especially the alumina and fluorite structures, and the hydrogen uranyl arsenate (HUAs) and phosphate (HUP) structures. Electrolytes which operate at low (-40°C to 100°C), medium (100°C to 400°C) and high (400°C to 1200°C) temperatures are reviewed. Conductivity is by ions of copper, fluorine, lithium, oxygen and silver, as well as by protons. Applications of these electrolytes include solid state batteries for powering small and large devices (such as cardiac pacemakers and electric vehicles,), coulometers, electrochromic displays and gas sensors.
