摘要:
A microprocessor-based controller has been developed to reorient the magnetic field gradients used in nuclear magnetic resonance zeug-matographic imaging. The principle of operation is that linear field gradients correspond to vectors, and may be generated from their orthogonal components. Under microprocessor control, the currents in the gradient coils may be manipulated to produce programmed linear field gradients with any desired magnitude and orientation. The controller has been used in two-dimensional reconstruction experiments and for sensitive point scanning, and may readily be adapted to three-dimensional imaging and to other gradient sequences.

摘要:
A general-purpose interface for the PDP-11 family of minicomputers is described. The interface, oriented toward laboratory data-acquisition and experimental control applications, can be built in a relatively short time with low materials costs. A general purpose, FORTRAN-compatible software package capable of driving the interface is also discussed.

摘要:
An analysis system was developed to automatically determine specific conductance on samples at the rate of 30 per hour over a range of 1-15,000 μmho/cm with a precision of 1 percent or less. The system consists of custom designed digital electronic circuitry which modifies a commercially available direct-reading conductivity meter. This modification permits automatic range switching of the meter so that measurements are made under optimum conditions.

摘要:
A computer-controlled discontinuous automatic sample dispenser (ASD) for use with a graphite braid atomizer is described. In the single sample mode it can deliver sample volumes of 1.00 to 5.00 μl in 0.05 μl increments with typical atomic absorption measurement precision ranging from 2 to 5%. In the multiple sample mode, any of six samples may be delivered with typical total measurement precisions of about 10 to 15%.
