SYNOPSISThe male and female of a new species ofStrongylopsalisare described from Bolivia.Carcinophora bolivianaBormans is redescribed, and its position in the genusStrongylopsalisis confirmed; a new name is proposed forS.bolivianaBrindle. A key is given to the ten species now contained inStrongylopsalis, and notes on the distribution of the genus and its possible relationship toMaravaare included.
