摘要:
The oils ofLeptospermum coriaceum(F. Muell. Ex Miq.) Cheel,L. fastigiatumS. Moore, andL. nitensTurcz. were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The oil ofL. coriaceumcontained α-pinene (25.4%), 1,8-cineole (11.5%) and globulol (15.4%) as major components, whereasL. fastigiatumandL. nitensoils were found to contain 82.8% and 64.8–70.6% α-pinene, respectively.

摘要:
The essential oil ofSantolina ligusticaArrigoni (Asteraceae, Anthemideae) from Liguria (Italy) has been studied for the first time. Analyses of the oil by GC and GC/MS reveals that the major compounds were myrcene (12.0%), 1,8-cineole (11.1%) and terpinen-4-ol (9.9%).

摘要:
The chemical composition of the essential oils from leaves and young twigs ofxCupressocyparis leylandiiand cultivars ‘Naylor's Blue,’ ‘Castlewellan Gold’ have been elucidated by GC/MS and GC analysis. In all investigated oils, δ-3-carene (16.3%, 19.1%, 14.4%, respectively), α-pinene (10.0%, 12.2%, 24.7%), sabinene (15.7%, 20.7%, 9–0%) were revealed as the main components. InxC. leylandiiand ‘Castlewellan Gold’ limonene occurred in relatively large amounts (15.1%, 19–1%) in ‘Naylor's Blue’ only in small amounts (3.2%). The oil contents have been determined inxC. leylandii- 1.35% v/w, ‘Naylor's Blue’ - 2.7% v/w and ‘Castlewellan Gold’ - 2.1% v/w.

摘要:
The essential oil from hop cones(Humulus lupulusL.), which was obtained by steam distillation, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The major constituents obtained were: myrcene (25.4%), β-caryophyllene (9.8%), α-humulene (36.7%), α-muurulene (3.0%), γ-cadinene (5.5%) and δ-cadinene (4.1%). Fifteen minor components were also identified. The yield of oil relative to dried hop cones was 0.3%.

摘要:
The essential oils of tubular flowers and ligulate flowers of two chamomile genotypes diploid (2n = 18) and tetraploid (2n = 36) were examined by GC and GC/MS. The tubular flower oils of the diploid and tetraploid genotypes were found to contain α-bisabolol oxide B (17.8% and 5.9%), α-bisabolol (34.2% and 9–6%) and α-bisabolol oxide A (24.4% and 54.3%) as major components. The ligulate flower oils of the diploid and tetraploid genotypes were found to contain α-bisabolol oxide B (13.2% and 5.6%), α-bisabolol (21.3% and 9.4%) and α-bisabolol oxide A (18.3% and 45.6%). In addition, the tubular flower oil contained (E)-anediole (4.5%) while it was not detected in the ligulate flower oil. In contrast, the ligulate flower oil contained menthone (4.4%), yet it was not detected in the tubular flower oil.

摘要:
The chemical composition of the essential oils from leaves and root bark ofUvaria chamaeP. Beauv. growing in Benin has been investigated by GC and GC/MS. The analyses showed a great difference between the compositions of leaf oil and root bark oil. The leaf oil was characterized as being sesquiterpene-rich (93%) with a predominance of germacrene D (45%); the major constituents of the root bark oil were aromatic compounds, mainly methoxylated derivatives of p-cymene (55%) and benzyl benzoate (13.5%).

摘要:
Rosemary oils from cultivars ofRosmarinus officinalisL. growing in different areas of Uruguay and South of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul State) were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The oils from Uruguay were found to be rich in αpinene (37.8–46.2%) and 1,8-cineole (13.4–13.8%). The oil fromR. officinaliswhich was cultivated in Brazil contained αpinene (32.2%) and 1,8-cineole (14.7%), while the oil from wild plants found in Brazil contained αpinene (12.4%), myrcene (22.7%) and 1,8-cineole (15.3%).
