Since the autumn of 1993, the collection of ancient musical instruments at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna has been transformed. The organizers have chosen a successful new approach which conveys an impression of the sound of many of the exhibited instruments, while also adopting a contemporary presentation.
