摘要:
AbstractMixed crystals (MgxNi1–x)SeO4· 6 H2O and (MgxCu1–x)SeO4· 5 H2O have been prepared studying the solubility in the MgSeO4–NiSeO4–H2O and MgSeO4–CuSeO4–H2Osystems at 25 °C. It has been shown that the monoclinic structure of MgSeO4· 6 H2O is unstable and undergoes a change into tetragonal structure due to the included nickel ions (about 4 at %). The lattice parameters of (MgxNi 1–x)SeO46 H2O have been calculated. It has been established that the magnesium ions incorporate isodimorphously in the crystal structure of CuSeO4· 5 H2O which could be an indication of the existence of MgSeO4· 5 H2O isostructural with the triclinic CuSeO45 H2O. AbstractA discussion of modelling of nucleation and crystal growth kinetics is presented for those mixedsuspension, mixed product removal (MSMPR) crystallizer data available in the literature, for which log population density data appears to be a linear function of crystal size. The modelling crystallization kinetics is done twice – once assuming that the system is obeying McCabe's Δ law, and again when the crystals exhibit growth rate dispersion (GRD). In the latter case the gamma, inverse gamma, log‐normal, beta, Fisher, sum of two gammas, sum of two inverse gammas, sum of two log‐normal, and sum of two constant rates of growth rate dispersion models are used for crystal growth rate estimation. 摘要:
AbstractThe authors investigated the effect of small additive amounts of non‐magnetic ions as Na1+, Ca2+, Zr2+, Sb3+and binary or ternary combinations of these ions on some physical properties of the (Li0.5Fe0.5)0.6Zn0.4Fe2O4ferrite used in high frequency. It was found that by the segregation of these additives on the grain boundaries, the grain growth is diminished and much higher sintered densities are obtained in several cases, though not all. We established that additives such as Na2O, CaO, ZrO2enhance the rate of sintering, giving a speedy start to the sintering process.
